My definition of a skinny bitch is someone who is balanced, healthy & fit, kind & loving. Not what you were thinking?
I am a wife and mother of two children. Approaching 40 I find myself far from the path I started as a younger person who smiled at everyone I passed and had high hopes of making the world a better place. I started making little changes and pursuing my life long dream to write in February of 2008. Recently I read the book SKINNY BITCH and it literally changed my life. It gave rhyme and reason to the path that I was already muddling on and put me on the fast track by giving me direction. I was shocked, disgusted, and ticked by what I read about the cruelty “allowed” by factory farming and the abuse that happens behind the scenes “for fun”. If you don’t care about the cruelty, how about all the infection, disease, and chemicals you are eating with every bite of meat. More than just vegetarianism, though, there is good and practical advice about being healthy in general, as well as being a good person and loving our neighbors and planet. Here at today.com I am sharing what I learn on my journey to be a skinny bitch.
My definition may not be exactly what the Skinny Bitch authors had in mind but I think they'd be happy with my interpretation for me.
